Product Description

Common Types

Wet Pipe System: The most widely used type. Pipes are constantly filled with pressurized water, so water discharges immediately when a sprinkler activates. Suitable for spaces that do not freeze.

Dry Pipe System: Pipes are filled with pressurized air or nitrogen instead of water. When a sprinkler activates, the air escapes first, and then water flows into the pipe and out the sprinkler. Used in cold environments where pipes might freeze.

Preaction System: A hybrid system that requires two triggers (e.g., heat and a smoke detector) to release water. It reduces accidental discharges and is used in areas with valuable assets (e.g., data centers, museums).
